Tesco Launches its ‘Portuguese Finest Range’

Tesco’s have recently increased their ‘Finest’ range by adding 3 Portuguese wines to their list; Touriga Nacional, Douro Reserve and Vinho Verde, they are currently on offer in store now – 2 bottles for £10!
The Douro wine comes from the Duorum estate at Castelo Melhor, it’s a perfect food match with game, strong cheeses and charcuterie.
The Vinho Verde is sourced from the Melgaço area, it’s great with fish and seafood, or on its own as its just 11.5% alcohol.
The Touriga Nacional red wine has a characteristic peppery nose combined with the aroma of violets; it’s great to drink with lamb.
Finally, the Touriga Nacional rosé is a big, deep coloured rosé. Try it with lobster or salmon and let us know what you think.
